Please reach us at relgar@wsu.edu if you cannot find an answer to your question.
Check the list of sections to see which is most appropriate for your paper, and send an abstract to the named section chair. If you think your paper could fit in multiple sections, you are welcome to submit an abstract to each, but do not fail to let each section chair know that you are doing that!
If your paper is accepted, you should register as soon as possible, and also book a hotel room. It is always more convenient to stay at the conference hotel, there is usually a deal, and you will enjoy more interactions with other scholars if you do that. Additionally, conference are only possible if enough attendees stay at the hotel, as that reduces the cost of the meeting space.
You should send your finished paper to the discussant on your panel ahead of the conference. For your presentation, you need to make sure that the chair of the panel has a copy of your presentation (if you are using PowerPoint) ahead of time, but also bring a copy on a flash drive.
The PNWPSA is not the most formal organization, but typically people wear business casual.
There isn't a fixed time, but depending on the number of panelists you can expect something between 10-15 minutes, which will be confirmed by the chair. You should probably do a run-through of your paper to make sure it isn't too long!
Sometimes life happens. If something comes up that means you cannot attend, please let your section chair/ panel chair/ association executive director know as soon as possible! Unfortunately, we are unable to refund conference dues.
