For the past 75 years, PNWPSA has proudly served as an inclusive community, linking political scientists and policy practitioners in the Cascadia region, and beyond. We have endeavored to promote the study, research, and effective teaching of political science in the Pacific Northwest, promote closer relations between political scientists and elected officials, and achieve greater use of the expertise of political scientists in the field of government.
Our annual meetings are dedicated to these goals and provide a collegial environment for graduate students and faculty to receive in-depth feedback on their research, connect with prominent scholars in various fields, and engage with a variety of specialists during our annual luncheon.
Building on our past successes, the goal for the 75th birthday and beyond is to continue growing our organization and further professionalization of PNWPSA by inviting prominent guest speakers, providing travel funding to support graduate students, and encouraging Cascadia Award-level research. Our goal is to raise $7,500 in 2022 to support these efforts.
The PNWPSA is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization; as such, your contributions are fully tax-deductible, as permitted by law.
