The 2024 Annual Meeting of the Association will be held in Tacoma, WA, from Friday, November 8 through Saturday, November 9, at Hotel Murano.
Hotel Murano:
We have negotiated a special rate with the hotel. To book a room at the group rate, please visit the PNWPSA group booking page.
To submit a proposal:
Please submit your proposal directly to the appropriate section chair.
Poster proposals from undergraduates are also welcomed with the expectation that a sponsoring faculty member is in attendance at the conference. Poster proposals are not limited to undergraduates.
Conference theme:
Global and national events have contributed to growing inequality across the Cascadia region and beyond. Democratic backsliding, the ongoing impacts of COVID-19, and other factors impact social, economic, and political equality. We encourage (but do not require) papers and panels focusing on inequality broadly defined for our first themed conference.
The conference will feature themed roundtables, including our traditional election post-mortem, the Friday lunch with a speaker, and a Friday reception. We hope to see you in Tacoma for two full days of excellent presentations, roundtables, and engagement with political scientists across the region!
